pool fun!

today was quite a fun day, we went to play pool after our chem lecture. note that had i not told berge off for his attempt to pon the chem lecture, he probably would have--->"if u pon ill pon too" of course a person of my character would never dream of missing a lecture for trivial affairs like pool.

after our chem lecture where i had much fun learning about moles angst berge and me proceeded to lot 1 where we immediately got harassed by those jokers selling us 5 dollar tickets which usually consists of 50 cents for the printing fee and 4.50 for commision for the sellers. they tho were shaken off easily with a fierce glare from the berge. we then made a journey to berge's house where i got into a change of clothes. despite my repeated pleas for a less conspicious shirt berge refused with a stern no!

stepping into kbox i was immediately accosted by the counter staff who seemed to think that k'predorus was a school.
"eh boy wearing uniform cannot come in!"
(pointing proudly at shirt)"this one is not uniform wad"
(pointing at my white pants)"ur pants leh??"
"this 1 is outside pants la"
"oh.."

anyway, we soon got past that minor hitch and proceeded to the pool table, where hanxu told me kai had been waiting 5 minutes to take his shot just so that me and berge could witness his winning shot.

we soon proceeded on to the real game, playing doubles and rotating partners every two games. while i made sum good shots, i must admit my play was marred by some questionable decisions, especially the many "casual" shots which played a small role in our teams loss, tho i still had a record of 5-2 at the end of the day, a respectable result i must say what with the laughing and kai poledancing ard his cue stick to the beat of chinese oldies affecting me.

of course we got into the jokey mood and i proceeded to do sum minor repositioning of the ball using air draughts generated frm the oral cavity, i must stress the word minor. and then me and hanxu engaged in some clever trickery to replace one of the balls which berge had potted, i must say it was quite amusing to see berge pointing solemly at the ball i had just replaced and saying "now we haf to hit that ball in"

after the game we started some jump shot training, i was doing quite well until an unfortunate incident where my cue stick tapped the light hanging above the pool table with a minute amount of force. this unintended contact for some curious reason attracted the attention of the entire pool hall including the counter staff, and i had to do my best to look indifferent to all the attention while hanxu and berge shied away from the table in their foolish attempt to escape blame.

we then snuck out of the pool hall not wanting to attract attention to our pants, while kai paid. in all i must said that this was a great day, sadly it was marred by the antics of berge, kai and hanxu in the pool hall i hope i get better playing partners soon!
