PW day
Somehow, ppl just spend their national day holidays doing pw, including me. Picture the scenario: 3 classmates stuck for half a day in a house doing pw, Tan goes online, ppl question his exploits on 8th August( using a girl's msn account, though it is actually me). Tan, with the ever inquisitive mind asks: "Why are u suddenly so interested?" 3 times this happened and 3 times i said just asking. He asked again. Why cant somebody be satisfied with my answer? But again, the person(girl) whose account was being manipulated wasn't supposed to know anything about wat Tan did on Mon. Already bogged down by pw with boredom creeping up on us, a thought of mischief struck us. I typed an answer: "Isn't it obvious" Tan: "Wat" Supposed to be aGirl(SG): "i like u" Tan: "****, is there something wrong with u today" (****is to protect the person's identity) SG: "no, im telling u this from the bottom of my heart" SG: "Why u so bad to me one, always dao me in class?" Tan: "Where got? i got talk to u wat" SG: "as if lah. only talking to miss tan all day long. I feel so hurt" Tan: "Is there really smething wrong with u"
Perhaps Tan isnt that stupid after all. He suspects something fishy, and pinpoints SG's other two group mates, one of them being me. he smses me "Stop typinhg rubbish" I ignore him. He calls me. I calm myself down, and say that i am at home. He doesn't believe me, and threatens to call my home. Not wanting to let the cat out of the bag, i call home immediately and tell my brother to say that i went downstairs to the gym. Everything going as planned.
Still not convinced that there was a girl out there who actually liked him , he decided to sms SG herself. (Here i add a footnote: One reason y Tan was not so easily convinced was becos he had once thought that some girl in class liked him, and thus went up to confront the person. Apparently, it was just a figment of his imagination. His heart was broken thereafter.) Unknowing to him, we controlled the phone as well. So imagine the shock he had when the sms stated that SG really liked him. A brief flurry of smses followed, with Tan trying to convince himself that SG really like him. Finally, he wrote, call me and i will believe u. The defining moment of our challgenge had come! We tried to get SG to call him, but she was too shy and changed the subject to pw. We then smsed back to tell tan to call instead. To our surprise (and SG's horror), he actually called. To shocked to answer, SG dropped the phone. A second call came and SG managed after much coercion to say "Hello, is this *******?" It was done. Tan finally believed something which even we could not picture. Some girl actually him, and thus he thought he was cured of his gayness.
SG likes Mr Tan. Is that logically tenable??? (Mr Tan says yes)
